A little about me.
Family always comes first, nothing sweeter than spending time with the family.
I coach a couple competitive youth soccer teams and love being out on the field. My wife and I play on some indoor teams for fun and love game!
of course one of my favorite past times is what I do for a living which is coding!
In addition to my day job I host a free weekly meetup for people learning to code and have been doing that since early 2018. I also help maintain an open source project for the UtahJS group which is utahjs.com and conf.utahjs.com
I currently work full time as a full stack engineer for CHG Healthcare. My responsibilities span from working with product on the how to features and future work. Design and architect front end and back
end services. Integrate with other team dependencies and increase our testing strategy and coverage. During my time at CHG I have done some of the following and much more
- Architected an event driven service to get data from Salesforce to a new custom platform
- Present trainings and documentation to the team and business partners
- Enhanced alerting by reducing production alerts by 95%
- Ran discovery of multiple PoC's like CI/CD pipeline enhancements
- Increased test automation coverage to 90% through Unit/Integration/E2E tests with Jest/WebIO/VueTest Utils
